Janine graduated from the Career Training Academy for Therapeutic Massage in 1998 and the Academy for Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy in 1999. Janine was a dancer for 19 years; Her extensive dance experience resulted in a keen awareness of the human body. Janine was able to incorporate this experience into her career as a Myotherapist. She has worked in various clinics, treating Fibromyalgia, head trauma, stroke, and myofascial pain. In addition to her myotherapy treatments, Janine educates her clients in stretching, strengthening and proper body alignment. Janine also worked with professional football and baseball teams to improve their performance. Janine taught self care classes at The Academy for Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy. Janine enjoys cycling & hiking with her husband.
Katelyn Faith, LMT
Katelyn is a graduate of Pima Community College’s 1000+ hour therapeutic massage program and is driven and passionate about massage as a tool in healing and prevention. She is dedicated to providing tailored therapeutic massage treatments, specifically designed to help each of her clients reach whatever goals they have for their body. Her specialties include orthopedic and sports techniques, myofascial and trigger point therapy, PNF stretching, hot stone, deep Tissue and Swedish massage. Her objective is to help integrate massage into a respectable and legitimized modality within the medical community.
Karin Sandberg, LMT, NCTMB
Karin Sandberg, is a nationally-certified massage therapist. She is a graduate of Pima Community College’s 1000+ hour therapeutic massage program, she has a background in dance and holds a Master’s Degree in Music. Her passion in life is finding balance through movement. She held a career in educational publishing--combining her love of teaching and learning, reading and writing, solving problems and helping people--while raising her two sons. Karin uses physical activities (golf, jujitsu, soccer, tai chi) to connect her body, mind, and spirit to the earth which keeps her healthy and energized. Seeking a more humanitarian career and one that allows Karin to express her passion for finding balance through movement, Karin turned to therapeutic massage. She uses a unique blend of energy and deep-tissue modalities to bring balance to her clients. Karin has training in Swedish, deep-tissue, trigger-point, hot stone, Tenzo, Raindrop Treatment, and is a Reiki Master.
Erin Kentola, CST
Erin became a Certified Expert Therapist in 2009 after discovering the ground breaking Cranial Sacral Touch Therapy developed by Dr. John Upledger. Prior to that, Erin worked in Holistic Dentistry, promoting full body healing based on balance and wholeness, and incorporating her remarkable intuitive and energetic healing gifts, as well her exceptional therapeutic training and professionalism. While consulting with Dentists, Physicians and Naturopathic doctors, Erin teams with a variety of experts, resolving wide-ranging ailments and concerns. She has a clientele base throughout Arizona which mutually agree that not only is her therapy refreshing and enjoyable, but many clients have found it can be life changing!
Sylvia Boyed, MA, LMT, CST
Sylvia’s work with the body is the result of her personal life experience, as well as her ongoing learning, research, study and reflection of the sciences, the arts and spirituality. She has found her own life enhanced through the practice of meditation, yoga and tai chi. She also has many years of engaging with people of various ages and backgrounds, and has been a professional in the fields of education, social work, and theology.
Her scope of practice is the energetic restructuring of the whole body which enables healing to a specific area. A unique and energetic application of Visceral Manipulation and Cranio-sacral techniques has resulted in surprising effective outcomes. Sylvia is dedicated to supporting clients through their experiences during the treatment process. Working with a vast number of conditions and people, the past four years strongly suggest physiological changes lead also to emotional changes deep within the viscera leading to self awareness and personal integration.
Completion of Cortiva Desert Institute of the Healing Arts year long program in 2007 enables Sylvia with a comprehensive knowledge of Massage techniques as well as techniques in Reflexology, Massage for Cancer and Lymph Drainage. Her continuing education, completed in 2009, at the New Mexico Academy of the Healing Arts in Santa Fe brings an expertise in Visceral Manipulation to her work. Sylvia has also completed the entire curriculum for the Biodynamic Cranio-Sacral modality and has studied all techniques for Pediatric Cranio-sacral therapy. Sylvia holds her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Arizona and Masters Degree in Theology from the University of San Fransisco. She is bilingual in Spanish.
Kellye Webber, Owner
Leaving behind a lucrative career in human resources within the aerospace industry, Kellye Webber followed her dream for a new and fulfilling direction in her life that included more personal involvement and a more direct beneficial effect on people. Massage Therapy appeared to be the perfect venue for helping others and facilitating their healing potential. Kellye transferred from a life in the busy corporate world to Massage Therapy, with its wonderful resources of healing touch. She graduated from one of the top massage therapy schools in the nation, the Desert Institute of Healing Arts (now Cortiva), and then started her own business - First Hand Healing, PLLC.
Her experience and certification ranges from CranioSacral therapy, to Myofascial trigger point therapy, to Orthopedic muscular therapy, and continues with over 1500 hours of training. This experience and diverse education allows Kellye to facilitate the healing processes of her clients to their full extent, with exceptional results. Since 2003, Kellye has provided First Hand massage and body therapies to her clientele to their utmost satisfaction, approaching and reaching each individual’s health goals with consideration for their needs and desires.
